Coordination is key, but there is such a thing as matching too much. Don't choose identical outfits. Instead, choose a color palette that each person can make unique with variations of texture and style, accessories, or a subtle pattern.  Lay out the outfits all together to see if they look good and even send me them if you want a second opinion!

Don’t forget to keep in mind where your session is. Choosing clothing that fits the vibe of your location is key for overall impact of an image.  An example would be pictures at the beach; think flowing fabrics, linen pants or shirts, sandals or barefoot.

It's important to choose clothing that represents each member’s personal style and flatters their body.

The link to download the pictures will be shared with you no longer than 2 weeks after the session. Once you receive the link, download and keep your pictures safe since they are only available for some time. After 2 months, the images will be removed from the cloud service to make room for new client albums.  

I have been a Mom to three kids for over 10 years. So I’m comfortable saying I  ‘understand’ kids. I get it. All kids have their quirks. And all children can definitely have a mind of their own. And ‘shockingly’, sometimes children do not want to cooperate during a photo shoot! 

I never force them to do something they don't want!

Toddlers sometimes do not want to cooperate. I may be trying to get them to stay in a certain spot or look at me or something they just do not want to do. But if they are not feeling it, I won’t force them to do it. But I will redirect them to something they might enjoy or something they want to do. I will work with your child and create beautiful photos for you.

I sing, dance, and act a little silly!

Not to toot my own horn, but I can make kids laugh at me.  After having several toddlers who did not feel like cooperating during their family photo shoots, I learned a few tricks. And a fart machine and singing Baby Shark is one of them! I also make funny faces and tell corny jokes.

I let them run around.

Staying in one place smiling or looking at the camera for a few minutes feels like a lifetime to a child. Even to adults sometimes too! I let them run around, act goofy, and just be a kid. I love pulling them aside and asking them to run to Mom and Dad as a secret. This allows them to be more interactive during the photo shoot.

I roll with it!

If I’ve pulled out all my tricks and you’ve pulled out all your ticks, and your child still isn’t feeling it. I roll with it. I’m a Mom too, and I get it. Some days kids just aren’t feeling it no matter what.

I promise I will capture great moments, beautiful smiles, and family photos you will love for years to come.

In the days leading up to your shoot I’ll keep a close eye on the weather forecast, and I expect you might too! Regardless of what the forecast says, I always recommend that we don’t make any decisions until the evening before your shoot. The reason for this is that I find the forecast can change frequently over the course of a week, and a day that is forecast to be rainy in a week’s time, can often be forecast to be a lovely dry, sunny day once we reach the day before.

If the weather is so bad that we can’t go ahead, and we both have flexibility in our schedules we could move the shoot to slightly earlier or later in the day. If that’s not possible we’ll reschedule to a new date free of charge.

Whatever you decide, we’ll work together and make sure that the solution is something you feel happy with.

 The images in your gallery will be edited to improve lighting, contrast, sharpness, and color — all of which is a standard process for digital photographers. Therefore, I do not provide the unedited RAW images. 

Contact me through the contact page on my website or through Facebook Messenger. I’ll reply ASAP! Once we decide on your session date, you can then pay the deposit online and that will hold your spot. I’ll send over the contract for you to sign and you can bring it filled out to the session.  

You should schedule as soon as possible since I shoot outdoors at Golden hour and only schedule 1 session each weekend.
